Blackmane Horsewomen

The Blackmane Horsewomen are proud and bold amazons, who excel in horseback combat like no other clan or cavalry regiment. They are fabled to never have lost a single battle, but still everyone has their weaknesses, and theirs proved itself to be a very unfavorable arranged wedding. Long ago, the most beautiful and manipulative woman of Windcliff, Lady Lauren Whitemane, seduced and took full advantage of the former Blackmane Clan Leader, Lady Amelia Blackmane I, up to the point of gaining full control of the Blackmane lands and armies through sheer emotional manupulation.

Now the Blackmane Horsewomen  bitterly follow the commands of a devious foreign ruler, but regardless of who is in charge of the clan, the important thing is that the Clan's military might continues as strong as ever! Their riders' thunderous hooves continue to win every battle they fight, be it on real battlefields, or in the many jousting fields scattered across the nation. They are a hell of a strong force to be reckoned with, making even the bravest think very carefully before getting in their clan's way.

Alongside the Demetrian Nobles, the Royal Guards and the Eloped Riders of Theravalley, the Blackmane Horsewomen are always amongst the champions of all the national racing, jousting and horseback fighting championships. And in the case of the Eloped Riders, they only manage to be as good as the Blackmane Clan because many of them are in fact actual emigrants from the Blackmane Clan itself.
