Amphitritian Marines
Amphitrite Bay is renowned nationwide for being home of the boldest sailors of Arandolia. Their vessels are the most balanced and most efficient ones at sailing in any given weather, while their marines are some of the best adapted fighters to fight over the waves.

Aboard custom designed War Galleys that have both sails and oars to move quite swiftly on both shallow and deep waters, those valiant women excel in boosting their momentum by rowing their way into ramming any enemy vessel with their reinforced hulls, then boarding the foes with grappling hooks. Once the vessels are pulled together, the marines use their superior skills in naval combat to capture the ship in the name of their home region and in honour of their patron Goddess Amphitrite herself.

Unlike the Pirates of Westmarsh and the Privateers of Whaler's bay, the Amphitritian Marines have a very strong sense of honour, which is perhaps only comparable to the Royal Navy at Hellensport. They fight with great chivalry and valour, being famous for making prisoners and giving them fair trials instead of outright slaughtring any foe who crosses their path.
They are clearly blessed by Amphitrite, but the cold embrace of the sea is just as deadly to them as to anyone else who might drown. Therefore, instead of wearing heavy armour (which would turn them all into basically giant anchors upon being thrown overboard), they wear reinforced hard leather armour all over their bodies. This not only gives them a lot of freedom of movement and agility, but also enables them to swim quite well, even when fully outfitted for battle.

With that in mind, one should be careful when deploying Marines to fight on dry land. Due to their high versatility and speed to travel aboard their vessels along the coast, they are perfect units for performing amphibious assaults on key enemy positions near the shore. However, their light armour isn't nearly as tough as actual land units, so they should not be relied to march too far inland or expose themselves to cavalry unless it's absolutely necessary. Amazon Marines simply do not have the gear or the drilling to march and assemble into formation at dry land, so they will only ever fight at their full potential when onto or at least near their own trusty vessels.
