​Owl Valley is one of the regions with strongest military tradition within the Arandolian Southlands. A high concentration of dames and nobles live there thanks to the historical significance of the place as the origins of the current Royal Family sitting on the throne. The strong competition to rise upon the ranks of the military make those local nobles seek nothing but perfection in terms of chivalry, honour and skill in combat.

As such, the White Guard of Owl Valley is the second most renowned regiment of elite Dames under the direct command of the Hippolytae Royal family, acting as the princess' personal regiments. Much like the Queensguard serves the Queen of Arandolia, the White Guard serves the heiress-apparent to the throne instead of the Queen herself.

Glorified bodyguards in times of peace and a fierce cavalry regiment on the battlefield in times of war, they became a very famous fighting force during the long period they served Princess Samantha Kaiserin, following her to war and standing valiantly by her side against any odds. All the victories they achieved under her command brought a lot of glory to this regiment, making them actually more battle-hardened and famous than the Queensguard itself.

After all, unlike the warmongering Princess Samantha Kaiserin, Queen Althea the Wise has never been a warrioress. While the Queensguard most of the time stood in the capital protecting the peace-loving Queen as she dealt with diplomatic solutions to any conflict, the White Guard drenched their white armour in blood as they charged towards enemy lines following the Princess' bold and impetuous nature at quelling rebellions to enforce the her authority through the land.
