Twinless Leidenschafts
The Leidenschaft Swordsisters are undeniably amongst the boldest, fiercest and fieriest amazon women on the entire land of Arandolia. They are innate fighters who are almost always born in pairs, having a hell of a strong bond with their respective identical twins, up to the point of fighting in perfect synchrony together.

However, what happens when one of them falls in battle? After all, they're neither invincible nor immortal. Casualties do happen amongst the many pairs that compose their infantry regiments.
Most of the times, both twins end up dying together while standing side by side to the bitter end. Any surviving one tends to fall in a deep crippling depression without their most beloved person in the world by her side anymore. Either by completely losing their will to live on, therefore getting sick and eventually perishing too, or even commiting outright suicide in order to be reunited with the lost twin, the majority of twinless Leidenschafts meet their early graves within an year or so from the loss of their identical sisters. But there are those who are strong enough to survive such a horrible loss and go on with their lives, resuming their routines by completely reinventing themselves. Always carrying the memmory of their lost half within their heavy hearts.
Some of them even get back to the military, though the Twinless Leidenschaft Swordsisters initially end up quite vulnerable in combat after their loss. They depended too much on their now deceased sisters, so they feel like they just lost an arm and a leg, being no longer able to keep fighting the way they previously fought as a duo. They'd be pretty much useless in any army, but instead of giving up, they can always try to countour the matter by learning the hardest tier of combat amongst the Leidenschaft Family: the Red Widow's Solo Dual-wielding Technique.
Such technique is just as deadly as it is difficult to master, because it was the Leidenschaft Matriarch, the legendary Red Widow of Arandolia herself, who created it after the tragical loss of her own twin sister. By harnessing one's own pain from such a monumental loss, a swordsister can focus all her heart in the two swords she now wields. One being her own sword, while the other must be the sword of the fallen twin, whose spirit is believed to live on inside of the weapon, imbuing all her strength within it and always protecting the sister who lived on.
As such, the surviving sister can fight on as two swordsisters within one, drawing an endless amount of wrath and courage from the guardian spirit that now protects her. Those twinless swordmaidens then clad themselves in heavily reinforced suits of full plate armour, compensating for their lack of shields with redoubled bravery. With two swords in hand, the now lonely Leidenschaft is finally able be reborn into something much greater than herself. Twice as dangerous to their enemies, and also twice as respected by their allies.
