The Redlands is a widely known county in Arandolia because of its uncannily high concentration of redhead amazons of Leidenschaft heritage. However, not only the women of this land have gorgeous fiery red hair, but their trusty steeds too. Ever since its foundation, right after the Arandolian Reclamation by the end of the Dark Ages, the Leidenschaft Clan began taming wild herds of Athenian Horses roaming throughout their vast prairies, only to domesticate and crossbreed them with the Theravalley Stallions, while also using selective breeding to favour the widespread of the crimson colour on the herd's coat, originating the fiery red Redländer Crimson Stallions.

As quite a mixed up crossbreed of horses, the Redländers are very balanced steeds. They are rather fast, resilient and strong, while also fairly intelligent and brave too, making excellent all-rounders as cavalry mounts. Specially for the fans of the colour red. Some people like to classify them as a sub-breed of the Theravalley Warhorses because both breeds descend directly from the Windcliff Wild Horses, but the true lovers of equitation know very well how unique of a breed the Redländers truly are.
