Priestesses of Amphitrite

As the Goddess of the Seas and creator of all sea life in the vast oceans, Amphitrite is deeply worshiped in every coastal settlement of Arandolia. Every amazon fishing village, maritime trading post or touristic beach has at least a shrine to her name, while the major port cities have great temples erected in her honour.

All this is to assure the Goddess of the Seas' favour, so she continues to bless the amazons who live by the shores with abundant fishes and good weather. Every amazon vessel also bears either a dolphin or a mermaid figurehead in Amphitrite's honour, thus granting the goddess' protection at any voyage undertaken on deep waters.

As such, the Priestesses of Amphitrite have a strong presence throughout the entire Arandolian Coastline, holding enormous power and influence over any naval power amongst the amazon cities and regions. They actually have a navy of their own as well, which they use protect the Arandolian shores and aid any seafaring amazon in need.

Alongside the Priestesses of Hera, the Priestesses of Amphitrite also care a lot about the enforcement of the moral high grounds. They focus their fight against heresy and evil at sea, tracking and hunting down pirates, smugglers and corsairs alike. With the same hand with which they bless and aid the faithful followers of their doctrines, they also punish the miscreants without any kind of mercy, chaining them up and sending them to drown within the deep and cold embrace of Amphitrite's underwater domain.
