Copper Sentinels
Copper Island is quite the desolate place. Its scorched badlands are almost devoid of life, aside from a few cattle herds and scarce vegetation here and there. There are only two noticeable dangers around, but unfortunately enough, those dangers are quite the worst kinds of danger you could meet in Arandolia.

One of those dangers are the countless criminal convicts brought to Copper Island's mining and smelting facilities to forcedly work the jobs no one else wants to do. Every now and then there is a prison break or an escapee on the loose, and those murderous bastards are a threat to the locals. Just as much as them, there is also the feral fire drakes that inhabit the deep cave systems of an active volcano on the epicenter of the island. Hungry beasts that devour stray cattle. Even deadlier than the escaped convicts.

Fortunately enough, Copper Island has Jailers to keep the prisoners in check, as well as Dragon Slayers to cull down the always rising population of fire drakes. However, there are times when overwhelming riots happen on the correctional facilities, or when the drakes grow too numerous and too hungry, severely threatening the lives of the civilian population of Copper Island. Those are the moments when reinforcements are needed. And those reinforcements are the Copper Sentinels!
Standing always at the ready as Copper Island's emergency response team, the Copper Sentinels are special auxiliary troops who excel in shooting at first sight, only asking questions later. They carry broadhead arrows in their quivers to inflict severe injuries to their targets, be then humans or overgrown fire breathing lizards. Either helping out Jailers to crush riots through military crackdown or helping Dragon Slayers at slaughtering a particularly hungry horde of carnivorous reptiles, they are certain to do their job in assuring their island's safety.
