Windcliff Caravaneers

While most amazon merchants tend to stick to wide navigable rivers, paved highways or the sea itself by sailing the highly profitable maritime trade routes of Arandolia, the roving caravaneers of Windcliff are some of the few amazons tough enough to venture across mountains, steppes and wastelands alike to reach the most isolated communities within the Arandolian mainland.

Although they can't offer competitive prices to sell their wares in any big city center, they can buy wares in bulk directly from the producers and sell it anywhere beyond the reach of more traditional merchants for a good amount of coin. For this, they forsake the use of carts and wagons, carrying all their merchandize on the back of their strong horses from the cold northern steppes. Such creatures are resilient enough to endure even the direst climates and traverse some really rough terrain no matter the season, enabling the caravans to be just as efficient off-road as they would be on a paved highway.

As such, the nomad Caravaneers of Windcliff spread their trade routes far and wide, bringing exotic products from far away lands to anyone they can reach. They are heartily welcomed almost anywhere they go, many times trading one ware for another since coin is hard to find in the small villages and farmsteads. But they also bring news, gossips, letters and tales from across the nation, making their campfires very attractive for any passerby to stop and have a good chat with them.
