Unholy Healers
The Unholy Healers come from the wicked bogs of the Edgelands. Not so often because they were born there, but rather because the Edgelands is the only place in the entirety of Arandolia where the foul heresy that they practice is not strictly forbidden under the dire penalty of death by fire.

That's because their methods go completely against every divine law set by the amazon religion, while their very worship of the wicked fallen goddess Eris is seen as utter heresy to the rest of the amazon society. Only in the Edgelands they are permited to openly perform their highly profane blood magic rituals to save lifes, while a good reason for them to be so much persecuted anywhere else is because their healing rites mostly involve the sacrifice of living animals, the use of deadly poisons that can worse any disease, or even outright torture to achieve their only objective: keep their clients alive at all costs!

Sometimes, such cost can even be the life of another fellow amazon woman, as there are reports of Unholy Healers who murdered and removed the entire heart or other organs from within a healthy innocent, only to successfully implant them on a dying heathen to save an unworthy life. Successfully!
As such, there are many amazon women who are so desperate for a cure to a deadly disease afflicting a beloved one that they risk their own necks coming to the godforsaken hellhole where the wicked City of Westmarsh is located, only to look for one last hope of a life-saving remedy within the hands of the Unholy Healers. But that is only when every other option failed.

After all, everyone knows that those corrupted women from the bogs never charge for their services in coin. In the eyes of their foul goddess Eris, only a life can be accepted as the fair price for another life. In order for someone (or something) to live on, another life must be openly given to Death's cold hands instead. And if Death does not find the sacrifice worthy, all lives involved in any ritual may be at stake!
