Strengths: As they are technically "warrior nuns", their fervorous devotion makes them fierce, highly disciplined fighters.
Weaknesses: They are members of a sacred knightly order, having religious vows binding them to the priestesses they serve.
Marble Sisters (a.k.a.: Marble Dames)
The Sacred Order of the Marble Sisters is a monastic order of holy warrioresses, thoroughly devoted to the amazon goddesses. Although they hold the title of Dames and ride fine steeds, in their particular case such a title is much more of a religious nomination rather than a nobility status. That's because a Marble Dame has no lands, no serfs and no mundane possessions to her name, being no more than actual nuns, who were trained in combat at their cloistered monasteries and knighted by the Priestesses of Hera for their undying religious fervor and blind dedication to the amazon faith.
Those fighitng nuns are expected to devote every aspect of their lives to religious purposes, though they aren't quite clerics either, having no religious authority or influence of their own. They are warrioresses whose single purpose is to defend, protect and enforce the Divine Laws of Arandolia, as well as the interests of the holy priestesses, wherever they're needed. They act pretty much like the Templar and Hospitaller holy knights of medieval Europe, but serving the polytheistic Amazon Pantheon instead of the Catholic Church.
The entire Sacred Order of the Marble Sisters is, therefore, the mighty sword which the curia of the priestesses of Marble Strip use to fight both their holy wars and their petty squabbles alike, acting more often as the defenders of the faith itself than as the defenders of the people.
Any profane act (such as refusing to pay the proper tithe to the amazon temples, speaking blasphemy of the Goddesses, or practicing outright heresy) might very well bring those steadfast dames to anyone's doorsteps. They are the ones to bring any heathens to justice under the watchful eyes of the All-Mother Hera, having no fear of employing brute force in their righteous quests for the glory of the Amazon Goddesses. However, they are pious and merciful women as well, for it is (theoretically) also their sacred task to protect the commoners of the Marble Strip from brigands, pirates and all kinds of wicked criminals. With the headquarters of their order based in the Fortress of Marble Pass, they stand strong in defence of the entire region, ready to ride straight towards any incoming threat. Always with the blessing of the goddesses on their backs, and the financial backing of the priestesses who rule upon them.
