Buckskin Huntresses
As thoroughly experienced horseback huntresses who directly depend on their archery and riding skills to bring fresh food to their families, the Buckskin Mounted Huntresses are excellent at firing highly precise and accurate arrows while charging through the meadows at high speeds, chasing down wild stags and even fierce buffalos for their precious meat and pelts.

As their weapons are adapted for the primary purpose of hunting down beasts and prey alike, they shoot broadhead arrows that are specially deadly to unarmored targets, while their swords' blades are also very sharp and thin in order to best cut through an animal's skin for harvesting their carcasses. Those are prety much the same gear they use in war against human enemies, and although those arrows and blades aren't very effective against heavy armour, the mighty huntresses can make quick work of any lightly armoured opponents, piercing leather and linen like butter and damaging flesh way harder than average weapons.

As such, there is no better unit in Arandolia for the task of taking down archers and crossbowmen regiments, who usually aren't as well armoured as melee infantry. Their speed ensure they can reach enemy ranged units swiftly and dodge incoming missiles as they advance, while these mounted hutresses' lamellar armour is excellent at deflecting any lucky shot to hit them.

As one can already notice, the Buckskin Mounted Huntresses are just as good at shooting down enemies from afar as they are excellent at charging in and fighting hand-to-hand, bringing a lot of flexibility to their battlefield role. They can be used very effectivelly as both ranged and shock cavalry, either keeping the enemy away, or intercepting them without the slightest fear to do so.

P.S.: They usually paint around their eyes in black with charcoal in order to help preventing snow blindness during the long winters of their home region. This practice became such a widespread tradition within the Buckskin Huntresses, that they turned it into a trademark war paint for their own clan as well, wearing it all year long for aesthetic purposes.
