Trackers
Hunting Hounds obviously can't fly, and they certainly can't see as well as a falcon or a hawk, but dogs don't need any of that to be great hunters. Their sharp sense of smell makes them naturally great trackers, while their houndmasters are also experts in scouting and tracking themselves.

Unlike falconers, Trackers are pretty much self-suficient and can take care of themselves without the need for any bodyguard, infiltrating deep into enemy territory in order to scout ahead and see every little detail of the enemy encampments with their own eyes. They do not rely nearly as much on their pets as a falconer relies on her bird, because the hunting hound is much more of a partner than a tool for the Tracker.

As such, Trackers are also very important support units for any army. They are the ones to gather detailed and accurate intel on enemy position, numbers, supply availability, troop types, overall morale and etc., contributing immensely for the planning and briefing of any imminent battle.
In case of being spotted and caught in the act of spying, a tracker knows pretty well how to fight her way out of such a situation, fully counting on her ferocious and loyal canine companion to defend her. However, their utmost aim is to remain completely unseen and unnoticed, covering her own tracks so to gather all the information she needs and return without leaving a single trace of her presence there.
