Battlefield Role: Resurrected fallen amazon warrioresses
Weapons: Whichever they wielded when death claimed their souls.
Outfit: The decayed remains of their former suits of armour.
Skill level: Varies a lot.
Affiliation: The Priestesses of Persephone.
Doctrine: Persephone's way of the Redeemed
Strengths: Brought back from the afterlife by the High Priestess of Persephone, those undead warrioresses serve their righteous new master in exchange for redemption. They might be slow, but they are really hard to kill. After all, they are already dead.
Weaknesses: They are rotting and decayed walking corpses, so they don't fight as well as they did previously to their death.
The Redeemed
The amazon religion believes that, upon death, there are 3 possible fates for a fallen amazon's soul. If the deceased was righteous and heroic in life, her soul shall be welcomed by the goddesses in the Elysian Fields, the amazon heaven. On the other hand, if the deceased was wicked or tainted by heresy in life, her soul shall be dragged straight to the Underworld, where she shall be purified by Hades' infernal fires.
But if she was neither righteous enough to ascend, nor wicked enough to be damned, the soul shall remain in the world of the living, roaming as a restless ghost for the rest of her existence. Unless, of course, the soul can somehow find redemption at the arms of the Goddess of Life and Death, Persephone.

For that to happen, the lost soul must seek the Priestesses of Persephone during the months of Fall and Winter, when the connection in between the worlds of the dead and the living is strongest. The Priestesses can then see and communicate with the lost souls, providing a second chance to the ones they judge worthy. Those lucky souls who are already deemed to be deserving shall be reincarnated as a newborn, while those who must yet prove themselves may receive only the Bless of the Redeemed.
Such a "bless" is as much of a bless as it is also a curse, though. Because by becoming a Redeemed Amazon, the lost soul isn't reborn, but ressurected instead. Brought straight back to the decayed remains of her own rotting corpse, the fallen warrioress must now rise from her grave and serve the Priestesses who brought her back. She'll walk upon this world as an undead husk of her former self, until the day she finally finds either enough glory to ascend to the heavens, or enough sin to be taken to the the fires of the underworld.
