Silk Ladies are wealthy members of the landed upper class of the oligarchic City-State of Dione. They are the owners of vast cotton plantations and silk farms scattered across their home territory, ruling over the middle and lower classes as they see fit. The monopoly they hold over the trade of silk and cotton in Arandolia makes them filthy rich, so they shamelessly flaunt themselves in the finest armours and outfits they can buy.

In battle, they fight either on foot or on horseback, riding Bluesilver Amphitritian Warhorses that are the most common steeds found around Amphitrite Bay. They also often can be found in their City-State's Navy as high-ranking officers or even as captains, adding a lot of power to their war galley's crews.

After all, they need to constantly and closely watch over their plantations and trade routes in order to protect their commercial interests, otherwise their stupidly high profits might end up compromised.
