Worship: Nike, minor Goddess of Victory and Sportsmanship

Sacred animal: The Dove

Attire: White robes, usually not covering much of their sexy and athletic bodies.

Main Temple: The Temple of the Eternal Flame, in the Marble Strip.

Scope: The thrill of competition and the healthy practice of sports. Nike is the divine personification of Victory itself, so it is within her priestesses' sacred duty to promote and supervise games and tournaments amongst the amazon people.

Powers: The Pristesses of Nike are required to be impartial experts in every sport practiced by the amazons, acting as the trusted referees and mediators of any major event in Arandolia.

As a minor amazon Goddess and the personification of Victory and Sportsmanship, Nike is worshiped mostly by those who are always exercising and training to be the very best they can possibly be. Every gym, arena, tournament field and sports center in Arandolia have at least a winged statue dedicated to her name, while any city that hosts a major sport event usually have great stadiums erected in Nike's honour.

As such, the Priestesses of Nike are always present in those places where people compete in physical activities either for fun or for making a career in sports. They are obliged to be absolutely impartial so to act fairly as referees in any match, race, dual or game, while it is also their responsibility to organize and oversee the realization of the most important events of the amazon nation.

This includes events ranging from Adlerfurt's Anual Jousting Tournments, to Eagle Island's Seasonal Archery Competitions, and even the actual nationwide Amazon Olympiads that happens every 4 years in the Athenian League. The Priestesses of Nike are always on the backstage of it all, making sure the best amazons always receive the well-deserved laurels of victory for their hardwork and dedication.

Most of the time, these devoted priestesses are great athletes themselves, even though they are strictly forbidden to compete in any valid game match. This is a necessary rule to assure their utmost impartiality at naming the champions of every event, and so they vow to be as cold and objective as Nike herself when on duty. They are only authorised to intervene on a match in case of a clear break on the rules, punishing any display of lack of sportsmanship from the part of a competitor and making sure any competition ends up well and without any kind of disagreement.

Unfortunately, such is not the case sometimes. Especially when a match of any sport happens in between teams or athletes of the respective City-States of Northen and Southern Olympia. Amazons can be quite aggressive when their pride is at stake, so there are times in which a peaceful match becomes a warzone in between athletes and spectators alike.

But aside from that, the Priestesses of Nike do a great job in encouraging the healthy practice of sports, spreading a message of mutual understanding and cheerfulness amongst the amazons of all classes, genders and ages. Thanks to them, the arandolian population is quite fit and in an overall excellent physical shape, while also having a lot of fun and making friends in the process.
