Mulberry Longbowmaidens
Most longbows are crafted out of a mix of yew sapwood and yew heartwood. In Luna Island, however, there is a big scarceness of yew trees. The locals therefore long ago learned how to craft their bows out of treated Mulberry heartwood only, which is a harder and more expencive crafting process, but one that produces an actually stronger longbow.

As such, the Mulberry Longbowmaidens wield more power in their shots than any other known archer in Arandolia, at the cost of sacrificing a certain level of accuracy and precision as downside. They might be more likely to miss an arrow flown towards their targets, but any successfull shot is sure to cause a heck of a damage.

Those longbowmaidens try to triangulate their aim at the enemy's broader body parts in order to maximize their odds of scoring a hit, compensating their diminished accuracy by going for easier shots. This involves aiming for the torso instead of the head to score lethal shots, or aiming for the thighs instead of the knees for non-lethal ones.
Either way, the extra force of their arrows makes up to this incovinience by granting greater penetration and stopping power to any shot, making Mulberry Longbows a rather sought after weapon amongst any longbowmaidens strong enough to wield such a weapon.
