Skill level: Relatively decent polearm training, for a militia.

Doctrine: Athena's Way of the Warrioress
Strengths: Every able-bodied amazon born in the Redlands must undergo a compulsory military service, so the entire civilian population stands at the ready in case of war within their borders.
Weaknesses: They'll only go to war if their homes are being theratened.
Leidenschaft Reservists
After barely surviving the horrors of the Amazon Genocide and seeing her kin almost get wiped out from the face of the Earth by unscrupulous overseas invaders, Cassandra Leidenschaft made her life's greatest goal not only to reassemble and rebuild her clan from its near demise, but to also strengthen her kin so history would never again repeat itself upon them.

As such, when she was named Countess of the Redlands and Matriarch of the Leidenschaft Clan, the very first law Cassandra instated upon her redhead kin was compulsory military service. While in most of the Amazon Realm of the Arandolian Islands military service is either facultative or encouraged at most, in the heart of the Redlands every able-bodied Leidenschaft Amazon is obliged by the law to join the military at the nearest barracks upon reaching 20 years old, spending the next 2 years of their lives in the military. There, every Leidenschaft will learn, either she wants it or not, to fight and defend herself from any form of violence or oppression, making the entirety of the local population strong and nearly impossible to subdue by sheer force of arms.
After those 2 years of mandatory military service, the best fighters are chosen from among the ranks of those new recruits and accepted into the standing army of the Redlands, while the massive surplus of battle-ready recruits are sent home to their farms and families to resume their ordinary lives in their own ordinary professions. However, they are also obliged by the law to own weapons at home, always standing at the ready if their kin as a whole is under any kind of threat.

In the event of an invasion, near the entirety of the Redlands' population may rise and fight alongside the local armies. Thanks to Countess Cassandra Leidenschaft, there simply isn't such a thing as "a poor defenseless peasant" to be raided in her territory.
