Druids
The druidic traditions of Luna Island come from a time far before the hellenization of Arandolia, being one of the many remains of celtic culture that survives in the amazon nation up to this very day. As the ages passed, the druids absorbed hellenistic elements into their lore too, expanding their wisdom with new ideas and embracing Artemis as their new Moon Goddess, adapting their ways to the new religion of the amazon people.

But their close bond to nature only grew stronger with time, so their ancient knowledge of gathering the right herbs and substances for healing remains very efficient. Some of their natural medicines and potions are nothing short of miraculous, in such a way that ill people from all over Arandolia come to Luna Island in seach for treatment amongst the Druids.

And when the wounded doesn't come to the druids, the druids often go after the wounded. Many generals seek the help and the support from those ancient healers of the forests as field medics for their armies. Although they aren't as efficient as actual surgeons, they manage to save a hell lot of lives after each battle, also properly honouring and praying for the fallen ones, which helps soothing the sorrow of the living.
Aside from being healers, apothecaries and gatherers, Druids are also unofficial priestesses of Artemis, well able to inspire any allied soldier on the battlefield with their ancient and unique battle chants. Their voices fuel up the courage and the strength of the amazons around them, driving the allied units that can hear them to fight harder and more vigorously.

They can very often stop allied units from routing altogether, or even rally an already routing unit and bring them back into the fight with renewed bravery and morale. That's why they leave the wounded to be treated after the battle, focusing all their efforts during the actual confrontation at supporting the fighters, thus aiding to avoid further casualties from even happening at all.
