Demetrian Warhorses are bred to be big, strong and fierce above all else! Unlike other horses, who are bred to be docile, healthy and loyal steeds and only then trained to become warhoreses, the breeders of Adlerfurt outright apply artificial selection on this particular stallions and mares in the sole focus of enhancing their military use, thus actually breeding them for war.

 

As such, all the husbandry behind the entire Demetrian horse breed results in steeds that excel in combat, being fearless, relentless, and even bloodlusty. They are also very loyal and disciplined warhorses, being so effective in trampling, stomping and kicking enemy soldiers that many amazons favour the breed as the best choice to ride to any battlefield. Most of those horses tend to be born in Seal Bay colour with black manes, tails and socks, but the amazons who ride them don't usually seem too concerned about their colour. All that matters to this breed is their ferocity and strength, and at this, the Demetrian Warhorses excel like no other steed!
