Eckenburg's Blackguard
Confident and rather stylish, the proud women of Eckenburg's Blackguard are the dutiful protectors of the Persephonian Plains. With their outfits inspired on the legendary three-headed hellhound Cerberus, these fierce regiments of well-armoured guardswomen get the great honour of wearing an exuberant black uniform, along with a badge that entitles them to use brute force upon any unruly subjects of Duchess Amelia Schäferin IV. They also wield massive Zweihänder Swords, usually longer than their own height, stricking deadly fear deep into the hearts of anyone standing on their path.

Those epic swords are simply one of the longest and heaviest weapons used all over Arandolia, made 100% of hardened spring steel at the forges of Eulenfeld and being just large and long enough to double quite well as short steel spears at countering frontal cavalry charges when needed. They are sharp enough to cut down enemy pikes, and well able to slice an unarmored opponent in half if used to its full potencial.
In this case, size really does matter a lot, because those swords are stupendously effective in any battlefield. If you think the heavy weight of such a weapon makes these strong women sluggish and inaccurate, you are dead wrong, because they can very well use half-swording techniques to choke the weapon by holding it by the blade with the second hand, sacrificing any desired amount of sheer power for the sake of speed and agility.

All in all, they are rather versatile troops who can execute a multitude of tactics against the most varied types of enemies, being able to endure extended fights without much exertion due to their relatively light armour. However, these bold women very often regret not wearing some extra plates of armour covering their thighs and faces when they get pinned down behind cover by enemy missile troops.
