Strengths: High morale and an undying oathsworn readiness to fight for their Countess.
Weaknesses: Released from their oaths and long forgotten by their own liege, their armor grew rusty and their numbers have dwindled. It'll take a strong leader to rebuild their lost glory.
Apfelian Foot Dames
Those oathsworn women-at-arms long ago vowed to protect Apfel Island from any kind of danger, which they did for centuries upon centuries. However, after the island became a protectorate of the Kaiserin Southlands, the local Countess had no choice but to disband those renowned regiments. Their service was no longer needed, as the Kaiserin Dames from the mainland took over their responsibility of guarding Apfel Island on their stead.

The years passed and those aged veterans reluctantly got back to their lives in their small farmholds, standing idle but never fully abandoning their military training. They kept passing their titles, traditions and training from generation to generation, keeping their foremothers' swords always sharp and at the ready. Although their duty to defend their land is formally a thing of the past, the Apfelian Foot Dames deep down there urge for the day when they'll be called once again.

Disbanded or not, they never released themselves from their oath. All they need is a Countess bold enough to break the bonds of the protectorate treaty, making the County of Apfel Island autonomous again and reclaiming the past glory of its most devoted warrioresses.
